Gold Coast Caravan Parks
There are so many caravan parks in the Gold Coast region that you could spend a good chunk of your valuable holiday time researching them. We've done the hard work and here's our list of the best seven caravan parks in the Gold Coast. They range from kid-friendly extravaganzas to the quiet waterside oasis. All are mapped below, marked with orange dots.

NRMA Treasure Island Resort Park
This is a large kid-friendly caravan park in Biggera Waters at the north end of the Gold Coast, on the bend of Biggera Creek. Trees and shrubbery give the caravan sites privacy and shade. It's a short walk to the supermarket and a couple of restaurants. Facilities include hot showers, laundry, bar and bistro, pirate mini golf, waterpark, 3 swimming pools, jumping pillow outdoor gym, playground, hot tub, buggy hire, tennis court, indoor games room with pool table, BBQs, camp kitchen, wireless hotspots, kiosk, tour desk with discount theme park tickets, security gates.
RATES: From $49 (low season) $89 (high season) per night for 2 people
Ocean Beach Tourist Park
A small quiet caravan park at the south end of the Gold Coast tucked between Miami Surf Beach and the forest of Miami Bushland Reserve. You’ll hear the waves crashing at night. The beach is patrolled and perfect for swimming and morning walks and the village has cute restaurants and cafes. Facilities include hot showers, laundry, BBQs, kiosk, dump point, free WiFi, tour desk and theme park bookings, gas.
RATES: From $38 (low season) to $65 (high season) for 2 people. $15 for additional adults.
Broadwater Tourist Park
With stunning views to the glittering city, Broadwater Tourist Park is smack in the middle of the Gold Coast at Southport opposite a patrolled surf beach. Some caravan sites have views across Broadwater. Facilities include hot showers, laundry, playground, bouncing pillow, two swimming pools, games room, tennis court, internet kiosk and free WiFi, camp kitchen, BBQs, kiosk, boat ramp, fish cleaning tables, tour desk, gas, dump point.
RATES: From $38 (low season) to $65 (high season) for 2 adults. $15 each for additional adults.
Main Beach Tourist Park
Main Beach Tourist Park is in an excellent location in the middle of the Gold coast on a patrolled beach fringed with natural bushland and cycle and walking paths. Surfers Paradise is a 5 minute bike ride and Seaworld is within walking distance. Facilities include hot showers, camp kitchen, BBQs, swimming pool, playground, free WiFi, kiosk, TV and games room, coin operated laundry, tour desk, gas, dump point.

BIG4 Gold Coast Holiday Park
Kid-friendly, 5 star facilities, and right by Dream World, Movie World, Wet ,n Wild and a river walk, Big4 Gold Coast Holiday Park is great for families. There is a little road noise at night from the highway but nothing too bad. Facilities include hot showers, laundry ($5 per load), swimming pool with slide, shaded cabana, camp kitchen, basket ball court, tennis court, BBQs, bike hire, board games, cafe and restaurant, hot tub, kayak/canoe/paddle boat hire, internet kiosk, tour desk, gas, dump point, security gate.
RATES: $42 – $57 for up to 6 people. Minimum stay required.
Kirra Beach Tourist Park
Kirra Beach is right by Coolangatta, the quieter south end of the Gold Coast. It's great for swimming and surfing and has plenty of cafes and restaurants. The tourist park is a stroll from the patrolled beach and it has big shady sites shaded by trees. It is close to the Gold Coast airport but not under the flight path, and there is a flight curfew from 11.00 pm to 6.00 am. Facilities include camp kitchen, BBQs, swimming pool, jumping pillow, playground, TV and games room, free WiFi, coin-operated laundry, tour desk, kiosk, gas, dump point.
RATES: From $35 (low season) to $65 (high season) for 2 people. $15 for additional adults.
Tallebudgera Creek Tourist Park
On the banks of Tallebudgera inlet, and just a stroll from Palm Beach, the sites have water views. Burleigh Heads National Park is a 30 minute walk across the bridge and the theme parks are a 30 minute drive away. Facilities include hot showers, camp kitchen, coin-operated laundry, three swimming pools, play ground, boat ramp, BBQs, tennis court, TV and games room, free WiFi, tour desk, kiosk, gas, dum point.
RATES: From $38 (powered grass site) to $70 (waterfront site) for 2 people. $15 for additional adults.
